On Tuesday 18th March, Emerald Class a wonderful day at Newhaven Fort. It was a glorious sunny day, perfect for exploring all parts of the fort from the exciting exhibits, to the cliff top walk and even the spooky tunnels around the Victorian era building. To tie in with the History topic of World War 2, the class also took part in a special workshop allowing them to get hands on with some real WW2 artefacts whilst learning more about life on the Home Front. The day was a great success and the children came home with big smiles and lots of new information!
