On 7th June our Year 5 and 6 cricket teams attended a Sussex Cricket competition at Eastbourne. They were sensational! Every single team member showed fantastic enthusiasm, super skills and a perfect sporting attitude. Mrs Hudson attended the competition with the children and she was very proud to be told by other adults there how respectful and polite they were to each other and their opponents. And, to top it all off - Alfriston were crowned the champions of the whole tournament! Thank you to the parents who were able to come and support (and umpire!). It was a really fun afternoon. Alfriston School: 'Small but Mighty!' We can't wait for our younger cricketers to follow in their footsteps!
