On Tuesday 9th December, Emerald Class took a trip to Weald and Downland Living Museum in West Sussex to enhance their learning about Victorian Life. They met Mrs Owens, a stern Victorian teacher, who taught them the 3 Rs in an authentic Victorian manner and within an authentic Victorian school building. They also had the opportunity to explore a range of living and working buildings not just from the Victorian period but dating as far back as Anglo-Saxon times. It was an interesting and engaging day for all!
