At the end of January, Emerald Class went on an exciting trip to Newhaven Fort. The day started with an object-handling workshop where the children were able to explore and learn about a variety of items from WW2 to tie in with their topic for that term. Later they explored the Fort and looked at further exhibits. Those that tried the air raid experience say it will remain with them for a long time. It was an inspiring day.
