Tag Rugby
On Friday 26th September, Emerald Class took part in the annual Seaford Schools Year 6 Tag Rugby Tournament hosted by Seaford Rugby Football Club and supported by Seaford Head School. The tournament took place at SRFC's pitches at The Salts. All of Emerald Class attended, with 12 children making up the Alfriston team and the rest of Emerald Class pupils acting as roving pitch-side reporters. There were 12 teams competing across two groups. In the group stage, Alfriston won 3 and drew 2 of their matches which meant that they won their group. This put them in the final play-off for the trophy, which they won 3-2. Once again, Alfriston have proved our motto 'small but mighty' to be true!
